SIM800L GSM GPRS Module
The SIM800L V2 5V Wireless GSM GPRS module provides power supply compatibility with 5V and can be easily connected to a computer for debugging via USB to TTL serial port. It has an output current of 800mA, and its TTL serial interface is compatible with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers. You can directly connect it to your single-chip computer after purchasing.
The module features an IPX antenna and offers the flexibility to switch between a PCB glue stick antenna and suction cups. With support for four frequency communications, the SIM800L module allows data connectivity worldwide, making it ideal for foreign trade and foreign trade projects.
The SIM800L V2.0 GSM/GPRS module is a quad-band module that is compatible with Arduino. It provides GSM features such as voice calls and SMS, as well as GPRS features. One of the advantages of this module is that it operates at a voltage level of 5V for both VCC and TTL serial levels, enabling direct connection to Arduino or other minimum systems with a 5V voltage level.
While many GPRS/GSM modules on the market require additional components like a 5V regulator and level converter circuit, the SIM800L V2 GSM/GPRS module comes with a built-in regulator circuit and TTL level converter on the board, simplifying the setup process.
